Our tutor Danny has been a professional musician and recording artist since he was young and he's worked in studios since the mid 1990s. These days, when he's not teaching, he spends a lot of his time producing artists' singles, albums and music videos. You can review a selection of his work

Danny has a wealth of experience with writing music, music theory, creative recording techniques and adapting songs for both the studio and the stage. Rather than taking a template approach, Danny is focused on helping the artist find their own musical voice and sound, utilising the element of surprise and experimentation, while achieving a high impact, head-turning track.
He can also help you finish your song. It's very common for artists to arrive with a very incomplete song idea. Danny is in his element when helping you finish and improve your lyrics and write and arrange the rest of the track.
Some of you might be working towards recording and releasing your own music and some of you may just want to experience the fun and challenge of recording. It can also be a great practical goal to work towards, for those who are learning to play and write music.
